I didn't like the way my droid model was going so decided to create "Carl", a cartoonish fat old guy. I'm done with the body and am starting to make clothes for him. He is mostly modeled using the box modeling technique, although the extremities were extruded from circles and attached to the body. I am also reworking the elven character that I posted elsewhere in the forum.

Here's another shot showing the mesh.

He's cool! I am curious as to how Carrara compares to say Wings as far as box modeling. I am no expert in building and animating organic characters, but "He" looks like a very effective and efficient mesh as far as portraying the character.

Thanks danamo. Wings is "clunky feeling" and does not have near as many tools and options. The box modeling is somewhat similar compared to Hex 1, but won't compare at all to version 2 of Hex, which will be more comparible to Zbrush as far as modeling goes.
