Can some of you who feel you have really good and "decent" files setups/systems for how you have all of your folders organized, please post some screen shots for me so I can have a look and see how you all have your's set up? I'm going through things tonight (gawd) "trying!" to figure out the best way to have ALLL of my items for Poser better organized, and basically, to make better sense then how they seem right now, which is like everything seems to be scattered all over the planet and not enough in one place. At least they don't look that way to me. Like, I see the downloads folder and figure, OK, I can set all of my freebies and paid for items I get from online all in THAT directory (folder) yet, I look in windows browser and see several folders in there but DON'T see them in Poser when it's running. And why are all these folders soooo scattered through out everywhere sooo much!? It's like seeing zillions of duplicates of the same things over and over of the samely named folders. Can't they or shouldn't they be more organized into less folders all of one type of things in one folder that says, (whatever?), something like, textures or Props and so on and so on? I think you all get where I'm coming from, right? And where do the rest of you tend to like to keep your saved out little scenes? I mean, scenes like, I make a dog and a human in a posed setting and save this, as whatver it's called, Umm, dog_man.p3z or whatever it is? Doesn't matter if I don't remember the exact thing, you all know what I am refering to. Now, do I save this scene in the Man Posed folder, or the Dog Posed folder or some "other" folder or something, like, My Poser Scenes or something? And if so, is there a way to make that kind of a folder right inside of the Poser folders panel to the right? Cuz I don't see one or any place to put a folder like that? Anyway, yes, I'm still pretty brand new at this stuff, but totally willing to learn and hear what others prefer for their own organizational folder methods and all? I mean, i could just move on and start creating all sorts of things, but I would much rather get this area of Poser sorted now, so taht way I can start with a nice clean, frsh system. thanx for any and all help :) And yes, I've been spending the evening reading through the various links that some of you sent me before as well as checking out links like this one, but they fail to really go into any detail on their reasonings for anything, at least not enough for me. I mean, how many Character folders and Libraies with all the same sub folders in each do we need!?
