The April Poser Challenge is Open!! This month's theme: Laughter Is The Best Medicine Looking forward to seeing all of your entriesnikitanights posted Mon, 10 April 2006 at 8:17 AM
Hi Angel, Just making sure that the overall "Theme" is what we create ... let me clairfy myself.. what I mean is - we create an image that comes to mind when we read "Laughter is the Best Medicine" right? Yesssh I hope this wasn't a stupid question..I'm real good at those. Thanks so much.
Angel1 posted Mon, 10 April 2006 at 8:27 AM
Not a stupid question at all Create an image that makes you laugh (within TOS) a comic, an event etc.... I hope this made sense - It's early here and the brain cells haven't had any caffeine yet
nikitanights posted Mon, 10 April 2006 at 8:31 AM
LOL That's how I feel at the moment. Ok.. thanks so much for the quick reply I appreciate it. This will be fun! =0)

No postwork - no problem here, but is a text overlay permitted? I.e. if you want a character to be saying something, in a speech bubble for example?
Steve
Angel1 posted Mon, 10 April 2006 at 12:02 PM
Yes you can do a text overlay for a speech bubble - I'll add that in the rules Just remember no sigs this time
anxcon posted Mon, 10 April 2006 at 12:07 PM
for the safe side, you could always add a prop for the text lol :P thats how i've been doing sigs lately, gets a better look IMO and for an animation clip, SO much less work :) quick cheap way, add a square prop, and create a transmap for shape and a texture for whatever text is to be said, pretty simple if too much time on your hands, model the text into it adda fancy border, etc, tada! lol
spedler posted Mon, 10 April 2006 at 12:30 PM
Thanks Angel1. Anxcon - yeah, that was how I was going to do it if adding text was turned down!

If we make two pictures, and paste them side by side as one (say, a before and after scene), is that considered postwork? I've got a cuet little scenerio in mind, but it'll aonly be effective as such.

Just putting two images side by side is not considered postwork - Have a good time
shadow_dancer posted Sun, 16 April 2006 at 2:51 AM

Angel1 posted Mon, 17 April 2006 at 7:51 AM
We were having some trouble with uploading images - that has been repaired now. I have contacted all those who tried to post to please re-post their images. Images will be displayed shortly

Why no SIGs? Not that I put any on my renders... but I'am curious!

I've had several people test the link (in various browsers) and all are getting to it with no problems. Have you tried clearing your cache, deleting cookies etc..?

xantor: it looks as though you are trying to use the link that ryuslilangel put in his post
http://market.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/Laughter%20Is%20The%20Best%20Medicine
that link also gives me errors... page not found... in all my browsers as well.
Try:

instead.

Challenge link is not functioning correctly for me as well. (hand me a tissue)
TCopsey posted Thu, 01 June 2006 at 10:55 PM
Oops - tried the one suggested (http://www.renderosity.com/contest.ez?contest_id=674) and it works fine getting to all the entries. Thanks & sorry for my oversight.
So - how are you to vote on a selection? I see only ways to post a picture (which deadline has past) but no vote buttons or such.
