For those of us who aren't familiar with guns, do you have an image of what it looks like? I was looking for guns not to long ago, maybe I came across one in my travels. EDIT: does it look like that picture? EDIT EDIT: maybe something from Mock at this link? http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=44029 Or something from Panko, here: http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?vendor=9011"It is good to see ourselves as
others see us. Try as we may, we are never
able to know ourselves fully as we
are, especially the evil side of us.

angry with our critics but will take in good
heart whatever they might have to
say." - Ghandi

Check Daz's free archive, page 9 at the bottom, "Modern Firearms" by Questor. I think there's a S&W .38 included in the pack.....<-insert words of wisdom here->

Many thanks, All. The Shooting Times website gives a fascinating background to the gun model's history, but it appears that the model I had in mind is the Magnum version. Well, the company made custom versions anyway, so I may be confused. I am going to give the DAZ firearms by Questor a go.

MCDesign has amongst their fine selection of weaponry, a S&W Model 629 .44 Magnum revolver available here: http://www.mcdlabs.com/3Dmodels/FREE_MODELS/weapons.html Also, I'm not sure where (or if) it's still available, Hongyu's rather excellent revolver while not marked as such, is very much styled after S&W revolvers. I think it was part of the last xmas merchant's freebie giveaway, if anyone knows where those can be found, it is definitely worth a download.
