Dearest Readers,
Contrary to what some of you may think, neither these forums, nor php, nor the nice little Word-like interface are the newest inventions since sliced bread. While the fact that the coding team is working for you is quite nice and gives off that feeling of warmness, the simple idea that they barely managed to bring this to the fore in 2006 should be alarming, regardless of the size of the site.
The power of Bondware 3 is big and Saruman-ish, but there have been free (and much more powerful) alternatives for years. Indeed, in the field of content management systems, Bondware and its flagship site, Renderosity, are kinda like what Bryce 6 will be to Vue 5 Infinite: Severely and utterly outdated.
I don't specifically have a chip on my shoulder in regards to Bondware or Renderosity, I just think that a community that isn't based on a decent site is ripe for abuse. See the Bryce Hot20, multiple account-creation, spam runs on forums, etc. for ample exemplification.
That said, being a Bryce user I have learned to bask in the "too little too late" mentality and think that this place is grand, and what makes it great are the users. What I would suggest is keeping on with your requests for change and hope that the sheer inertia of good intentions is enough.
Thanks,
Drac

I only know a few people here with multiple-accounts - although there's a lot who do spam-runs.
Not me though.

So why don't you let us know how you really feel ? Hee, hee, hee, hee. At least Bryce 6(if it happens) won't be a machine killer. I have used Vue 5I and while it produces superior results,........I can use C4D with Advanced Render capabilities with all bells and whistles enabled and it still renders faster than V5I ! And it doesn't bring the machine to it's knees(CPU temp rarely gets above 85 degrees.) whereas V5I just makes the machine shudder(and this is a dual Xeon box with 4Gb's of Ram). As to the Bondware issue,........Bondware, Schmondware, I don't give a rats butt, nor a hoot nor holler(a southern USA colloqialism), I just like lookin at the purtty pictures(preferably naked Vickies, I want her to have my children).
