Hey there long time on type.
Heres the thing ,
I have been out of the renderosity loop for a while and i am new to daz/studio (whick I personaly feel is better than poser)
but Im after some skin textures for my figure like V3 M3 A3 JAMES JESSIE.
I have hunted around for myself but I am yet to find anything that I like and in some cases yet to find anything at all.
hopefuly I am not breaking any forum rules by asking this and if I am sorry in advance.
anyway hopfully there are some people willing to help out a fellow renderer.
please and thankyou Crooks (Mike) :-)

A first good place to look is in the freebie Poser section on this site under Characters (or do a search for 'V3') - Daz Studio uses Poser stuff. There are some nice ones there.
If you have some cash to spend look in the MarketPlace - there are some great photorealistic textures of V3/M3, or try the Daz site.

crooks, most all poser content will work in daz studio, you won't find much in the studio section as of yet... so any content you already have that you used in the past for poser will work in studio.

I make my own....go to http://fineart.sk which is a human anatomy site for artists. There are some freebies but most you will have to pay for. They offer a huge selection of all kinds of human body shapes and sizes for male or female. They are done in front, back, and profile photographs of real human beans! Hi resolution photos at that. Get some and cut out and paste them over a character template and fill in the outer edges. If you line up the parts just right you will be amazed at the results. You may need to make a few bump maps to add for realistic effects.Plus you can expand the photos to full size and capture just a 500x500 section of the skin and use it for an entire texture with the surface tab in Daz. Works great for me!

I don't think James and Jessi HAVE any freebie skins yet. A few in markets from here to Content Paradise, but freebies?
