Subject: I am lost

Hi! I have done all possible "acrobatic positions"to find good angles to photograph this little gem of mine. I've spend hours of trying and still can't get it right ..Please help me. I am open yo any ideas. Thank you so much, Hugs Belatofi

Check out an earlie post  " First lightbox experiment "  Richard send a very good tutorial how to capture quality image from small delicate object, or even biger  as you ganna see Danielle's project.  I tried myself as well and it is really working!

I for one like what you did with this image for some reason. the light effects are quite neat, though the 'gem' could perhaps be a little darker. Keep us informed! =]

Hi, Refering to my pic...I have been following the suggestions from previous posts ( some v.complicated) and.......it was not a good friday for me yesterday .....perhaps I should become superstitious lol. Well, my efforts have been useless, I realize I am a ding-dong when it comes to the photography (mastering of) . Total disaster !!!! I am giving up on this little crystal. I also want to say Thank You to those of you kind enough to provide me with suggestions. Please see my yesterdays attempts

I like  #3 a best, I have trouble to capture white chrystal, ( yours beautyfully shows a chrystal clarity )mine always over expose them, what ever is my setup on a camera. But no problem with colored stones or colored chrystals. I don't get it.

Don't give up, looks like you know what you doing!
