I'm thinking of buying one of the wonderful Orc Wars texture sets, but I'd also like to get the marvelous character who's modeling the texs. Problem is, he's not offered there and when I searched the Michael3 characters for sale, I couldn't find him...? Does anyone know who created this character and whether he's for sale? Patricia

It IS close, but I've gotten even closer on my own, using the basic M3 morphs. But I can't seem to capture the features, let alone that great expression. If no one recognizes him, I may have to email the vendor, but I was hoping that someone would pipe up with, "Oh, yeah--that's the "X" character set!" and save me the trouble😊 Patricia

Oh!! That is a great looking image!  Very realistic. If you find the answer to your question, would you mind posting back here to let us know?

It's quite possible that it's the Daz package with a different texture added to it.  It's usually the texture that makes or breaks the image. This texture is very nice.

The texture is gorgeous, but even after a lot of work trying to get those features, I can't seem to get it to look nearly as good as the one above in the picture. I suspect that some magnets were used (that, or the person who created it was WAY better with morphing than I am! LOL) Well, if no one can ID the character by tomorrow, I guess I'll email the texture artist. Even the ad renders, which my smaller image above is cropped from, are excellent. I will definitely post the answer when I get it. Who knows? If it's not offered commercially now, maybe the interest will convince the artist to offer it...? I went ahead and got the texture set, so I'm anxious to get my hot little hands on the character🤤 Patricia

Reminds me of the original 'Source' from Charmed.

Is THAT where I saw that face before--?! It seemed familiar, but I couldn't place it. Was it Balthazar? Wonder if I have any of those old episodes backed up on tape anywhere? Hmmm....but you know, even with the ad pictures to work from, I couldn't get the brows into that shape without deforming the mesh and the cheeks didn't look right either. Not nearly as easy a set of features to morph as I thought it would be. dph, what does your sig line mean? I got a D in Latin back in the paleolithic era....:rolleyes: Love your picture--is that actual progeny of yours?? Patricia

**Dear Patricia;
No, the one who came before Balthazar/Cole.  The first Source, the one defeated by the 'Hollow'.   The face above doesn't have the scarring and tribal markings on the forehead, but the overall look is the same.  I'd say that it is at least derivative.

The child sitting on my shoulders is my  youngest grandson by my third daughter, Ariel Yehuda.  My second daughter presented me a month ago with newest granddaughter, Ester Hadassa, her second child.  Her first child, a son, Yair Eliaha, will soon be celebrating his first birthday.

Happy Passover back at'cha, David:biggrin: I'm Jewish (sort of--he's secular) by marriage, so I know the holidays, at least. You are becoming a Patriarch--congratulations! Stonemason, thank you--I'd not realized that it was the Freak and not M3--the textures work on any of the unimesh DAZ figures. Perhaps that's why I'm having such trouble getting the facial mesh to do what I want it to do... I think I'll email the texture maker(s) and see if they have any suggestions on adapting that wonderful face to Michael3. If I learn anything, I'll post it here on this thread. Thank you all for your input--I'm picking up Poser again after a long sabbatical and I'm rusty, so help is appreciated. Patricia

Try  PhilC.net - I think he and Kamilice(sp?) created a free poser plugin that either swaps heads between unimesh figures or with actually transfer the morphs across.

Cheers

That's only a texture package. Is there a morph package to create the "Orc"?

you can probably add the M3 creature pack morphs to the Freak.
