Hey,
im having problems installing FlamingPear`s Cell plugins into PS CS 2. I did put them into the plugin folder, but they wont show up in the "filter" tab.
Any ideas ?

Do you have a separate folder for Third Party Plugins? You can assign one in PS in Preferences. I put plugins like FP in that folder and they show up fine. I put my folder in:
C/3rd Party Plugins/Flaming Pear
You see I also make a subfolder for each plugin. Since I'm not a guru, others may have different solutions, but it works great for me.

Does anyone know which plugins absolutely don't work with CS 2? I set a path to my P7 plugins folder and then opened CS2 again and it's giving me grief. Opens but not without throwing nasty dialog boxes my way and it very grumpy.

You shouldn't set the path to your PS7 Plug-Ins folder. CS2 will already have a lot of those filters and would cause it to puke up all sorts of nasty stuff because of the duplications. It's best to put all 3rd party plug-ins in a seperate folder. Then you can set the path to this folder for PS7 and PS CS2.

Clarity is a frightening thing isn't it? I never realized that by giving CS the path to P7 plugins, that the native plugins would be included and would cause problems.
I've actually avoided switching entirely to CS because I thought the plugins I rely on a lot wouldn't work.
Color me dumb.
