I think the question needs to be a little more specific. Are you planning on painting the lips? Texturing the lips? Shaping the lips on a Poser model?

i mean above where the top lip ends, the white-ish part

Looks like dodge and burn stripes with low flow. Try it you got nothing to lose :)
