Oh, the time has come to post again. I've been fighting and fighting for weeks now to get a pair of angel wings I own to look the way I need, and I've given up. They're too resource heavy for what I need...

Does anyone know of a good set of wings that are ANGEL wings (as in, look like they belong on a human, not on a bird) and will comfortably fit Hiro 3? I'm working on mascots for a convention and I truly need to be able to increase my rendering speeds.

Wings I've already 'discarded' because they are so resource heavy or don't look right:

They only came with the advance release, unfortunately, and only if you paid extra. At the time of the initial release, I was totally broke...

i don't know about resource heaviness or whether they will fit hiro, but they look angelic: guardian angels by darkworld designs heaven wings by fkdesign archon wings by darkworld designs angelyna wings by sharkey there are also the anghell wings, but you might have to make your own texture for them. oh, and while digging whence i got erlik's free angel wings, i just found this link, which contains a list of angel wings complete with images; very useful. the renderosity links still point to the old marketplace, but i suspect you know how to handle that.

If you go with the Angelyna Wings, when you use them in Poser 5 or Poser 6, you need to use 'normals forward'.   The above link is to a thread on the issue.

The Angelyna Wings are definitely not what I need. They're far too... long and thin, I guess. The Anghell wings seem to be about what I need. :)
