The consensus seems to be that PoserStyle ain't coming back, not never. I don't know what their user agreement said, but it may well have forbidden resale or licence transfer, and (IANAL) would still be legally valid. However someone who was one of their customers would be better able to expand on that. Do you know who made the Immortal Tunic? If you have the vendor name, you could try searching for them here - they almost certainly would be a member.
Shadowdancer posted Thu, 20 April 2006 at 7:58 AM
The user agreement forbids resale or re-distribution, without prior written consent.
The Outfit itself was made by John Malis.
You could try contacting him at runtimedna (he's part of their team) & see what he says.
Hope this is of some help.
Kalypso posted Thu, 20 April 2006 at 8:31 AM Site Admin
Actually the outfit was made by thip and John just did the textures and the other expansions here at Renderosity.
RHaseltine posted Thu, 20 April 2006 at 8:33 AM
I thought the add-on that needs it was by John Mallis, the original outfit was by Thip.
LilWolff posted Thu, 20 April 2006 at 11:52 AM
I thought it was thip who made the model, but the readme doesn't say for positive. It does say - quote - Textures for all clothes and props included - specially commissioned from John Malis.
No one can legally sell you the outfit except the modeler and that depends on what arrangements they made at the time they were modeling at poserstyler.
Since this was an outfit for Mike 1, though it converts nicely with WW, it sure would not hurt to request of Thip and Rena that they make a PERSIAN CLOTHING for Apollo or M3.

Thanks for the update.

mr_Holger posted Sun, 07 January 2007 at 3:24 AM
hey Kalypso,
are you still working on your great project?
what do you think: would it be better to adapt the armor to G2 males? or are you maybe waiting for M4?
whatever: please don't let the item go to nirvana.
it is still a big market gap and many people need this.
best regards
holger

Kalypso posted Thu, 01 February 2007 at 12:17 AM Site Admin
There will be a variety of add-ons to this and I believe with different knight orders.
mr_Holger posted Thu, 01 February 2007 at 12:36 AM
oh kalypso, the news are getting better and better...!
Shadowbear posted Sat, 10 February 2007 at 1:59 PM
Hi,
I am interested in getting a hold of some of John Malis' older works. In particular Knights Extraordinaire. I have found the product at RDNA but it is marked as being no longer available.
Is there someway I can either email John or who ever handles the older products.
By the way, that knight project looks great!
Thanks
mr_Holger posted Sun, 11 February 2007 at 4:22 AM
Hi Shadowbear, I suspect, I don't tell you new, but have you already used the contact-formular?**
**
Shadowbear posted Sun, 11 February 2007 at 2:00 PM
Hi **mr_Holger,
**I think there is a language problem here. I have never heard of the contact-formular. I may know it by another name. Please explain.
mr_Holger posted Sun, 11 February 2007 at 2:21 PM
hello Shadowbear,
yes. the language, indeed...my english is not the best. sorry!
okay, you said:
"Is there someway I can either email John (...)"
At RDNA (and ReRo to) there is at the product page always a little link.
it's named "contact".
clicking it, you find the contact-form to send a message to the artist/vendor.
in this way, you could John directly tell what you want from him.
(but maybe I missunderstood something you wrote and my hint is not the thing you expect)
kind regards
Shadowbear posted Sun, 11 February 2007 at 2:21 PM
Okay,
I googled contact-formilar and found it is a location service. The problem is they need a valid email addrees, physical address, city and country.
I only know they following about John Malis:
I have Googled his name and found only the old email address, some credits where he was listed, reviews of his work and references to articles about or with him.
Klutz posted Sun, 11 February 2007 at 4:57 PM
Aye, as Shadowdancer said earlier.
Your best bet would probably be to email / pm him at RDNA

Shadowbear posted Mon, 12 February 2007 at 12:52 PM
Thanks all for your help.
John Malis answered the contact from from RNDA is a prompt manner.
Problem solved.

Hello folks,
Easter-Time...the right time to ask for news about the Knight's outfit, Kalypso announced.
("Well, with permission from Lourdes and John Malis I can safely say that something for M3 is on its way :) Here's a very preliminary image, sorry can't say more!")
Seomething new?
Kind regards
Holger
mr_Holger posted Fri, 13 April 2007 at 2:11 PM
hello,
while waiting for Kalypso's stunning armour, everyone, that is interested in Crusaders, should have a look here:
market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php
Elsina made a beautiful Crusader-Outfit for all of the Poserfreaks, that already own DAZ's tunic, the Hooded Cloak and the RDNA Tabard.
It is the first crusader-outfit available for M3, as far as I know.
It is also a possibility to gratify their need for all of those users, that have no chance to get the Poserstyle Immortal Outfit (and that was the reaso nfor this topic).
Kind regards
Holger
Kalypso posted Fri, 13 April 2007 at 2:42 PM Site Admin
Correction, it's not my armor :) It's by Lourdes and John Malis if you've read my post above.
mr_Holger posted Fri, 13 April 2007 at 2:50 PM
oh, sorry! of course, it is Lourdes' and John Malis' armor.
I correct it immediately:
"while waiting for Lourdes' and John Malis' armor, as Kalypso said in his posting..."... :-)

oh noooo! what is the superlative of "blind"? blindest. yes, that's what I am: the blindest kraut in da whole world.
of course: Kalypso, the nymph that loved Ulysses ... and your avatar: a sexy girl... uhoh, I am so sorry.
I correct again:
"as the beauty Kalypso said in her beautiful posting".

Just a heads up. The Poserstyle3D Web Domain became available recently and someone is trying to set up something similar, but from what I know, they will not have the ability to offer the former PoserStyle products.

Have you seen the new templar knight for Apollo here at ReRo?
Great armor.
And this one is well done too.
