Hi, just to let you know : I am selling my copy of Vue Infinite on ebay. Its registered on me and I will transfer the license to the buyer. The auction ( my ebay name is mansam200 ) will run for 5 more days. -Manfred

Hmmm I didn't think re-selling was allowed with the user agreement. You did double check with E-on before you posted the auction, didn't you?

No I did not. But I sold some time ago another version of Vue. There was no problem at all from e-on with license transfer etc. . Why should there be a difference with Infinite? -Manfred

LOL..why would you need to check with E-on.
Once you've payed for it..you own it.....right?
If you are unable to resell it..then you never really owned it at all.
It's a shame stupidity isn't painful.

Your statutory rights as a consumer probably over-ride any "agreement" anyway.

No problem selling it I suppose, just that the buyer probably won't be able to register it properly if it is a sidegrade/upgrade version, nor will they be able to take advantage of any future upgrade/sidegrades themselves.
As to license transfers, that would be up to E-on, and as far as statutory rights are concerned, I'd like to see which ones you think apply - no ones stopping you selling it, just that the buyer might not get a fully functioning item because it was for your personal use only (the EULA).
Which is what was meant by Cheers when he said did you check with E-on.

Ok ! I just un-registered my Vue INF with a mouse click on E-on website. How easy was that? -Manfred

No, you do not own the software, you have purchased the rights to use it...the software is still the property of E-on Software.

Nice thought, unfortunately E-on aren't using your hardware.
You could try rental of disk space, I suppose.

You need to send in an ownership form or something - E-on must have something like that.
e-frontier has it for Shade.... so if you sell it on ebay. they know and you wont get hassled.

As I already stated You can register and un-register very easily on e-ons website! No other formular needed!

Yes true, but I think you will find that it doesn't free-up the S/N originally registered.

I just had contact with the guy who bought Vue INF from me. He told me that he registered Vue at E-on Site this morning without any problem. Everythings fine ! :-)
