I searched the forum about this issue.  Someone suggested to edit the texture of the air in Vue, like you would any other texture.  However, when I imported the Poser scene, it seems to be just one figure..I dont have seperate textures that I can tell...unless I did something wrong on the import.

The hair in question is the SilkyLongHair that a lot of folks use in poser...and the redhead texture...it comes out black.  any ideas?

Should I go the other way? Bring my Vue scene into Poser?

Simple; bring up the materials window and look for the hair materials. Edit them and find out what's wrong. Probably it's got black in the colour blend for some reason.

the only material is body...  it seems to just be the skin material.

The material editor is on about half way along the top of your vue screen not on the right hand side. Do you see it yet? Love esther

I got it figured out.  One thing is I chose the checkmark that combines all meshes into on..so thats why I only saw one material called body.  So I reimported and now I see all of them...however..for some reason, the hair texture didnt come over...just the mesh...but I browesed over to where the texture is and it seems to be ok now.  Thank you all!!

No, no - you should combine meshes, it's much easier. Ignore the list of objects, whether it says "body" or whatever. You are not interested in the object you are interested in the material. Press F6 to get the materials window. Vue will only show you six at a time, but scroll along until you find one that looks like hair. Then edit it.
