Sorry I took so long. I work crazy hours.

I'm looking for two objects here... What on earth are they?

solrac_gi_2nd posted Fri, 28 April 2006 at 12:14 AM

FuzzyShadows posted Fri, 28 April 2006 at 12:21 AM

Nope, not gloves :)

solrac_gi_2nd posted Fri, 28 April 2006 at 12:22 AM

FuzzyShadows posted Fri, 28 April 2006 at 1:04 AM

Good guess, but nope.

newleaf posted Fri, 28 April 2006 at 1:14 AM

Looks like ornemental poultry. the kind with ruffs of feathers heads down pecking

FuzzyShadows posted Fri, 28 April 2006 at 1:17 AM

Close enough newleaf! It's actually two wrens roosting for the night. Way to go! I thought that one would be really hard.

newleaf posted Fri, 28 April 2006 at 1:27 AM

Oh gosh!  our wrens are tiny little birds and very sleek  with short tails. I would never have guessed these are wrens. Oh no! now it's my turn and I don't have anything.....will go look now

newleaf posted Fri, 28 April 2006 at 1:43 AM

I think this should be an easy one

TwoPynts posted Fri, 28 April 2006 at 7:42 AM

My guess would have been baby birds...good one! Hmmmm Pat, obviously some kind of heavy riveted metal....a manhole cover? A fire hydrant?

newleaf posted Fri, 28 April 2006 at 8:27 AM

not manhole cover or hydrant but heavy and riveted.  A warning!

Dynazty posted Fri, 28 April 2006 at 9:20 AM

a train signal

newleaf posted Fri, 28 April 2006 at 11:44 AM

No sorry not a train signal

Large and teardrop/cone shaped

The writing would give another clue if it was all showing. Some have bells attached, but not this one

newleaf posted Fri, 28 April 2006 at 12:04 PM

Ignor the background this item is out of its normal place.
