Hi, for my simple mat Poses i use the free Mat Pose Edit, it's really nice. But for a P6 character with nodes and different shaders, what need i to use? Sorry for my bad english and thanks for help!

If you want to create a Poser 6 MAT Pose, here is a solution (for figures):

In Poser, with your character set up:

1° Go in the material room;
2° Click the "+" thingie at bottom of the material library.
3° A dialog will open. Choose "Create a MATERIAL COLLECTION" and select the body part you want to be in the MAT pose.
Also, give the name you want.

The material collection is a Poser 6 MAT pose, that can be loaded from the Material library.
You can then create a MAT pose that can be loaded from the pose library by doing this two steps:

Also, in my opinion, if you do a Poser 6 specific material, let it in as a Material Collection. The pose library is already full of other things.

Hope it helps,

Basil

This comes up so many times that it's not even funny.

As the originator of MAT poses, please take my word that Material Collection (MC6) files are exactly what MAT poses were created to do, with the added benefit of Poser 6's advanced material nodes. If you are using Poser 6, completely forget about MAT poses, and use Material Collections instead. The only people who need MAT poses are those using Poser 3, 4, or 5.
