Just Poser characters on the cover, the characters in the game look horrible and the game (a pool game) is utter crap as it's mixing raunchy, seedy Grand Theft Auto type story and characters with a pool (billiards) game!! They just don't seem to go together!!!
At best, the cover is the best aspect of the game... though the worst use of Quarkers Saphire Fox Hair in my opinion!!!
Thanks!

It is funny them using poser to make the cover at all.

Hilarious! You gotta give Koji some space there... If James misses that shot, he's gonna bust a cap...

 Yeah, but Koji better be careful with that thing or he'll end up like poor ol' Hiro!

LOL, and Miki looks ready to take that knife and do a trim job on that Sapphire hair any minute. :) Overall it's a pretty good image though, thanks for pointing it out. SnowS

We had a lot of Snooker on British TV recently--another game in the same set as pool--and the guy taking the shot just doesn't seem to know how to use a cue.
xantor posted Sun, 07 May 2006 at 4:47 PM
You could say an amateur player might not know how to hold a cue properly ( some people still put there index finger over the cue ) but this looks as if it is just bad posing.

Koji's going to be very sad if that pistol misfires.

if y'all are certain, I reckon it could have been done using poser characters in some renderer, but I regret the fact that I never see anything this well-composed in the gallery.

IMHO the cover looks quite good, and i agree with the above you'd not see something this well composed in the galleries. As for the SapphireFox hair, its well styled.... do you people know how much of a pain in the ass it is to style SapphireFox hair? lol Especially at that length!
The guy's shirt on the left is also well styled and painted, with folds in exactly the right places...techinically this picture isn't that bad..... Maybe some people are disappointed with this piece because there's not breasts everywhere????
ghelmer posted Mon, 08 May 2006 at 1:35 AM
I think it's a great use of Poser and Poser characters. I just think the fact that it's for a really crappy video game that was a waste of time and money to even rent from blockbuster is bad!!
The only negative thing I said about the Poser image was I thought the saphire fox hair was badly done... c'mon she can't see a darned thing! Except for her too long bangs!!!
So, sans breasts etc. it's a pretty darned good piece of Poser artwork. Even without a temple, sword, wyrmmaster magnet set etc!!!!

That looks pretty cool to me. Good expressions, lighting, atmosphere, composition, etc. I love Miki's expression. The hair on that other girl may be a bit much, but I grew up in an area where "Jersey Hair" was all the rage back in the 80's, and some styles weren't that far from what you see there! If the girls weren't sporting "crispy bangs", they had it all down in their eyes like that.
