Subject: Problems with normals. Render 2 sided?

danb ( ) posted Wed, 10 May 2006 at 11:35 AM · edited Sat, 17 August 2024 at 5:02 AM

I made an object that kind of curls around itself and am having problems making the object render correctly.

Whats happening is the beginning of the object does not render correctly, but the end of the curled object does.

I tried flipping the normals but that didn't work.

Is there a way to render an object as a 2 sided object like in most other programs?

If you're using Poser 6, check "normals forward" (in the material room).

It's in the (advanced) Material Room.  At the bottom of the list.  (Click on the image for a larger version.)

If you don't see it, you need to install the service release.

Thanks for all your help
