is it possible to create sub folders in the brush preset folder so that i can move some of my brushes into it then access them in the preset mannager

I doubt it would hurt anything.  My Photoshop downloads are in subfolders in a totally different folder on my desktop & they work fine.

one of the things that used to drive me crazy was you couldn't easily rearrange your brushes, you could create a "new" brush set but that is rather painstaking method when you have LOTS of brushes!

Well, now there IS a way to easily rearranging brushes, but the process is not to obvious:

  1. To move a brush from one spot in the palette to another, go under the Edit menu, and choose Preset Manager.
  2. In the Preset Manager dialog, under Preset Type, choose Brushes.
  3. Then, click-and-drag the brush of your choice to the location of your choice.

There you go! at last we can move brushes around.

Fantastic retrocity, I would have eventually stumbled upon this but now I don't hafta stumble...LOL...thanx mate

 

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again
