I get so upset seeing how people disregard our natural environment. Any environment for that matter.
I do like your image, and would like to know what others think. Does anyone take time to pick up some trash , even if it is a tiny amount? I do.
It would be nice to find people who did this and fill thier doorsteps with thier garbage.

What can I say? I live next to a railroad crossing where cars have to stop about a hundred times a day. You won't believe the junk I find in my garage way every day... Cigarettes, empty packages of all sorts, shopping bags, all kinds of waste papers and plastics, drink cans... among the most frequent... It's really hard to keep up with the garbage that people throw away (even on my property). I know this is not in nature, but the attitude of some people is the same, I guess... Disgusting, isn't it?

Rubbish (Garbage)...a wee rubbish story...
We live on the West coast of Scotland, the high street runs along the loch side for 1.5 miles, tourists stop for a look and decide to picnic on the high strret. The weekends are the worst, loads of tourists. Well anyway, we were out for a walk down the high st, and a couple are sitting the car eating, Next thing a banna skin flys out of the window onto the ground. There are rubbish bins all down the high street for people to use.
Irene (adorable wife) goes up to the car and picks up the skin and throws back into the car. I think to myself, here we go...
Out flys the skin onto the floor again. Irene goes upto the driver and states that we live here and sick of the tourists rubbish on the floor and shows him the bins. She also states that 'you tourists come here to see the wonderful views but ruin it with your rubbish'. Yes it ends up in a row.
So yes, rubbish is a world wide problem, on land and water. It's peoples attitude that need to change.
Phew!! I'll stop now.

Valou, your picture shows a big problem on earth. I use to go to the lake close to my home... unbelibable what I can find on a shore or a few meters in a water. I am surprise birds still visit a lake for food. Another thing, My home facing a school crossing, parrents waiting, hanging on my fence. They smoking, eating lolly, drinking softdrink. Needles to say where is an empty bottle, or a cigarett butt . Yess...it is in my beautifull garden. I pick them up every day, if I am lucky they not trow it a cross my fence, then all the trash lying on a footpart front of my fence. Somethimes I wonder if I would put a small bucket out, would they use it to put a rubbish in there? The problem with a whole situation here and in a whole world is a young generation see what adults doing with a rubbish and they learn it this way.... it is OK mommy does it too!! I use to be part of a "Clean up Australia programm" some organized weekend we go out and collect all the rubbish from lake and ocean shore. Weel at least i do that much for my area.
Very good tread about a BIG problem!
