Love your shot Doug.So moodyand dramatic!!!GWFA your shots are awesome.Lovely work,Valou and Tunde, too!
I've tried this a few times, and either the moon comes out great but is alone in an empty sky,or the clouds come out great but the moon's all white. It's a real challenge for me.Too bad it's been so overcast and rainy, here,or I'd try again.
Shoot for the moon.
Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.

Awsome images people!
Marlene...those clouds look the same colour as here too Always kind of errie huh?.
Valou.... trust me it is a hard thing to capture the moon.
I try every setting, and even then I have a hard time.
I did have a few good ones last year with the D70 similar to Carlos'. Can't find right now.
Tunde...that is realy good if you ask me.
Next time I will just do Cindy's style. Bend over and moon ya all hahaaa.
Well ....lets try again next full moon.

Douglas,
Is very hard in Seville to take the moon, because the sky isn't all black, he have a lot of reflection of lighting of city... This afternoon, me and a friend we go in a small village and I think perhaps over there, I would have a good photo
well, a good day and kiss and thank you for sharing your picture of moon...
babuci posted Sat, 13 May 2006 at 1:06 AM
Check this out! I was playing with a thought ...would be cool if one month we would have two full moon. Yess it will be...well we have to wait a year for that (11 mnths) 02/05/2007 and 31/05/2007 this 2 days will occur full moon. WoooW! Hope i live that long ( haha)!
http://www.nightskyobserver.com look for LunarPhase .This is a program I am using a few years by now. There I can check when a sun and moon sets and rises.
Valou! I wish good weather there in a village so You can have a blast with a moon!

Hey Everyone! I'm ready to join the moon party!!!! yay! Very very lovely pictures....too bad I'm not on this level yet. Doug, your pictures definately make me want to take a flight! So much is left to the imagination... yet so capturing! You've given us such a wonderful angle and perspective of the universe that its almost unreal.... sublime! And as for that "full moon" ROTFLMAO.... that is too cute... I've never really had a literal, visual image of the full moon as we so often make reference to it ...hehe....very brave butterlfy, by the way... too bad we don't have an image of it, just tickling the moon :) And Dynazty, I can't help but wonder if that picture was played with? It look sooo real! I'd guess I'd feel like a real goof if you told me it wasn't...... VERY beautiful picture. Reminds me of the evenings in Aruba soooo long ago. And Marlene, your picture is absolutely magical! That moon is sooo small, yet so exuberant and bright. A very sharp image for sure! Gerald, theres not much to say about yours, other than it is very interesting.... i think of "As the World Turns" when I look at this picture. I think your trials were very successful! Tunde, You may say you are only at the "learning stage" but from my own novice perspective, it is a very captivating image. I am quite impressed. The gentle clouds that you've managed to capture are stunning. It takes not only a great camera, but also someone behind it to know how to capture such beauty and reveal it on a picture as you have.... Carlos, I haven't forgotten about you ... :) It's not only a full moon in its entirety, but a golden one as well! Sometimes such a simple image of a single moon like that, caught at the right angle, can be so very extraordinary.....Just looking at that picture makes you go hmmmmm............... Okay, well I guess thats it for my contribution to the moon party..... for now at least, I could show you a REAL full moon, but that would probably scare all of you away! LOL :) Big hugs to all, tofi
