Subject: Messaging Problem

Just discovered that if you miss-type the name of the person you are messaging, your message just disappears into cyberspace.

I have been waiting on an answer from a message I sent for a few days & wondered why it had not been answered, it was only because I noticed the message was not in my sent list, that I worked out what had happened.

If the name is incorrect, wouldn't it be more sensible for a notification to appear stating this member doesn't exist, or something similar - or message can't be delivered etc.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I didn't realize that it wouldn't give you an error if the username wasn't correct. I will forward this to the programmers.

Edited to add... I just tested this by purposely typing in a wrong username and I got this message when trying to send the message   "The username entered does not exist."

Please see my edited post above that I tested and did receive a message saying

The username entered does not exist.

I did ask the programmers if we could make that message more visible like maybe changing the color to Red or something that stands out, bigger text, I don't know something though cause I missed it the first time as well.

You mean to a username that doesn't exist?  Its a little difficult to see but its right under the drop down menu that has "inbox" and the "go" button...

Let me know..

Okay I just sent an email to the programmer with a link to this thread so they could read about your issue. It will probably be Monday before I have an answer on why you aren't seeing it:)

Thanks

Whoops we keep cross posting, LOL.. Yeah it is small that is why its easy to miss and why I sent the programmers a message about a different stand out color or bigger text, something..
