Hi all, attached is sample image.  I get checkery artifacts around the folds of this cloth after i render it.. The cloths are a mesh from 3ds max which does have square polygons so not sure if thats the problem. I am newby. What are these artifacts from? How can i correct this? thanks

What you see is polygons... When folds get too narrow, you start seeing the polys.
To get rid of those, subdivide your mesh to smaller polygons.

You could try enabling "smooth polygons" in the render settings.
