I would like to know, if it is possible to do either (or hopefully all) of the following. A) I want to do a picture where a character - probably a girl, is looking into a reflective surface maybe a mirror or water, BUT BUT BUT the reflection shows a different face from hers, maybe hers but nastier or something like that, like the demon within so to speak. B) I want to know where I can get a half normal / half kinda nasty texture for V3, a la phantom of the opera type face. And also a cloke or cloak however you spell that. C) Is it possible to find a tear to be rolling down the cheek? Is there a texture like that or do I have to engineer a tear?? LOL

heh....
A) Poser 6 supports true reflections I believe, but since you want a differant face staring back, probably your best bet would be to render the scene as it will appear in the imge. Then make a seperate render of the scene, looking OUT from the mirror, possibly with the reflected demon/nasty replacing the character. If you save the pose from the character, then apply it to the demon, it'll be correctly posed. And then you'll need to composite them in your image editor.
B) dunno....but the first place i would try is samildanach who does some wonderfully macabre texture sets.
C) again, no idea....personally i'd just make one

I posted some links to capes/cloaks in that thread. Daz also has a hooded cloak in their store. They also have a morphing fantasy mask. There are textures available for the mask at Daz and other Poser stores.I think Antje has a 2D package of face masks that you apply in a graphic program.
Here is a mutant morph for V3 which might work for you.

There is a "Real Tears" package sold here:

Hiya, I did a similar image to what you describe, I did it by doing 2 seperate renders, one with the girl looking into the mirror and her reflection then I did another render with the demon morph and textures applied. I then took both images into PSP (it can be done in PS too, or any other graphics program you use) and l layered the renders together and used the eraser to erase the relection/ and girl I didn't want in the final image.

Hope this helps.

Alysium, your post immediately reminded me of an image by Eun Hee Choi. It's a gorgeous piece that might come in handy as a source of inspiration for your own image. The website won't let me link directly to it, so go here:

Then click on 97bzo gallery. It's the 6th image from the left under [shaiya] : 2004~2005
