I created a nice campfire scene in 3d max, with self illumination maps
on the logs to give the effect of burning coals and embers. Want to turn it into a
poser prop. I only use Poser 4 Pro, but have Poser 6 lying around somewhere
to be installed.
My question. will Poser 6 import the materials correctly, or does it even have an
option for self illunination maps..Any help appreciated..

You could probably plug the maps into the ambient channel and thereby make only part of it glow.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

Other optoin would be to plug it into the probelight node, itself plugged into one of the various colour options... just a thought...
