Here is a photo from one of my favorite local spots - the Morikami Japanese Gardens. I'd love to see what you can do to it. Remember, there are lots of ways to approach a DITI: 1. Improve upone the original by adjusting hue/saturation/levels/curves...etc. 2. Crop the image to give it more impact. 3. Apply filters to give it a totally different look. 4. Mirror or otherwise maniputlate it to again acheive a new look. 5. Take a small part of it and use it in another photo. 6. ...and the list goes on. You are limited to 2 DITIs per participant and the first person to post their version starts a new DITI with one of their photos next Monday. Have fun!

didnt have alot of time today to do finishing touches to mine

-but did a  mirroing effect and added and egret and made the pond more roundish  with surrounding rocks around it and a waterfall in the back ...lol hope i didnt kill it ..had fun playing though .

Hey, I wonder why I never got any ebots that more of these were added, strange. Wow, you guys blow me away. Such terrific manipulations! Okay, I'll throw one of my own in..the obligitory IR manip :) I took out the branch and dragonfly, since no-one seems to like him. ((sniff, sniff)) I worked from the JPEG I uploaded and it is amazing how much the IR conversion brings out the JPEG compression artifacts...

Ahh..seeing the great flaw and lack of fog in the image I just posted!  The moon should not have been feathered or a layer of fog should enclose all...diffferent moon, err, different mood.  This is fun even if not good at it.  Levels and curves used for the image overall and a touch of selection and color to the water.    TomDart.

Tom! LOL :p Just so you know........ I think it's all a big learning curve for all of us! I really enjoy the DITIs because it really opens your eyes to new approaches!!!! I always see something new and wonder "hey! That's really cool, why couldn't I think of stuff like that????" !!!!

Like your picture, I would'nt have thought to try a night scene, but it's really great! Hugs All!!!!!

Here's  what I came up with! 

I merged one of my NJ Shore sunsets with Korts image...

I attempted to use Photoshops  "match color" function to blend the colors of the 2 images together better!  It was hit and miss, but  got it to work somewhat by experimenting.  I also used the healing brush on the sunset layer to blur out details that were showing through.

Now that is some stunning work, Joe! Well done...
