hey i had an idea , dont know how many people would be interested but, would it be possible to get alot of people together and set up a huge community render farm thing for Vue? could it be done over the internet?
just an idea

Unfortunately a Vue internet renderfarm is not practical as of now, mainly because of bandwith limitations over the internet, potential crashes which can not be recovered from afar, and the need to manually add rendercows to a project in the current HyperVue manager. There are other issues too, like copyprotected materials and objects which are registered to your computer and can't be rendered elsewhere.

Quote - bandwith limitations over the internet,.
could set up a BitTorrent server....If there were enough people willing to seed then bandwith probably wouldn't be as great an issue as peoples co-operation.
Cheers

fascinating concept... I'd be interested to learn some more details of how this would work, Cheers, if you could explain a bit more in detail for us tech-savvy-yet-apparently-not-tech-savvy-enough people.
