Hi,

I'm using Grace Lion Hair and FireBirdz Hair Fits for Miki in Poser 6. It works fine with the MATs that come with GLH, but when I try the MATs from 3Dream's GLH texture package, it comes out as white as in the picture.

The MAT file simply says:

{
    version
    {
        number 4.01
    }
    prop figureHair:1
    {
        material GLH_Scalp
        {
            textureMap ":Runtime:Textures:3Dream:GLH:3DreamGLH_TX01.jpg"
            0 0
            transparencyMap ":Runtime:Textures:3Dream:GLH:3DreamGLH_TR.jpg"
            0 0
        }
        material GraceLionHair
        {
            textureMap ":Runtime:Textures:3Dream:GLH:3DreamGLH_TX01.jpg"
            0 0
            transparencyMap ":Runtime:Textures:3Dream:GLH:3DreamGLH_TR.jpg"
            0 0
        }
    }
}

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Helmer

What highlight value do you have? Try lowering it some.

I have the same issue sometimes... go to material room, and turn on the basic tab. Now strengthen the dial on texture  to 100%, its probably on like 0....

Yep, Image map at bottom.... Texture strength, for some reason defaults at 0.000 (should be 1.000) Resave it after...

or go to advanced tab, and turn translucence to 0.

Hi everybody,

Thanks for all the help!

The texture strength was at 1, but Vexiphne was right, translucence value was at 0.5. However, after I changed it to 0, it still didn't work out right.

Anyway, by editing the MAT files from the GLH package itself, I can get it to work. I was just wondering if there was some simple adjustment I could make, either in the material room or as a simple addition to the MAT file.

Thanks!
