What are light gel materials?
what are they used for?
you're saying CG sunlight is actually based on a real thing????

Light gels are in the materials collection, under "Light gels". They can be used to create effects just like in theatres or clubs, and more. Apply a caustic gel to a volumetric light in an underwater scene, and bang, caustics everywhere, that make for a more realistic scene.
