Is the ONLY way to have animated characters in Vue 5 to use Poser, or are there other ways - we have Carrara2.1 and we have Blender2.41 - can these be utilized within Vue?

We are trying to re-create 'the garden of Eden' for a video presentation - with maybe multiple instances of animated horses, birds, etc etc - has anybody any experience of this - is it straightforward?
