I learned today that Patrick Martin has passed on. His last creations I believe, were Papa and Mama Sage, and I had been in constant email contact with him during their developement helping him around hurdles he was encountering.
I actually had emailed him just a day or so ago, wondering what had become of him after their release.
Patrick is probably best known for some of the vehicle he had done for daz.
Not much more I can or want to add right now, but I wanted to let the poserverse here know.

He pulled Papa Sage from Poser Pros and gave it away along with updates. By the looks of things, the last thing he made was "Mama Sage", still available at Poser Pros.
I talked to him about Poser things a few times in email and he seemed like a very nice guy. What a shame :(

No way O.o Really ? How did you found out ? So sad :(
I was beta-testing Papa Sage for him and we were e-mailing each other quite frequently back then, not only on technical issues, but also with everyday chatting. Such a talented guy, and a very kind man too. It's a great loss both for his family and this community :(

Kevin informed us in the PA forum over at daz. Technically, this is a breach of NDA, but I don't think they'll mind in this case.
I was kinda bummed, so I wasn't really interested in details.
