To my fellow Poser fanatics,

Looking for clothing that would reflect a skater type of look on a guy or a girl. I've seen lots of different people skating in different types of clothing. Ones wearing baggy clothes that look like they're about to fall off their rear, and ones who skate around with board type cargo shorts and a T-shirt. Whatever you think would look cool on a skateboarder let me know and also tell me where I could get something like it from. The main thing I need is a T-shirt and shorts, but let me know your opinions on other looks too.

PS Also do you know if there is any type of safety gear sold, such as elbow and knee pads and a helmet?

There is some clothes at DAZ, but they are for the Millenium Teens.

BillyT has some hip-hop clothes for V3, that might fit to skateboard style.
Don't remember who did it, but there are some "roller skating" clothes at PoserPros (?) for V3.

But i can't rememeber if i have seen any clothes for M3 that would fit your requierement. Oh yes, perhaps at PoserWorld.

The problem with the periodic searches for baggy skateboarder clothing and true hip-hop fashions for Poser is that basically, they don't exist. BillyT's outfit is an exception, but that's only one style for only one figure. There are lots of "almosts" around, though, and with some creative mixing and matching, and perhaps some magnet and re-scaling work, you can probably come up with something good enough. Xena's Everyday Wear for Hiro at PoserPros is often cited as a good start because of the hoodie that comes with the set.
