Do you guys say howdy anywhere around here when you're new in the forums?
If not...slap me around a bit for posting this thread ;)
I'm Croxie...real name is Christa...and I've been using Vue on and off since Vue d'Esprit 4. Today I actually have a separate partition with XP on this laptop for
the sake of being able to run Vue since I migrated to Linux a while back.
I've been on Rosity for the past...eh...4-5 years...and I'm "really" a traditional
artist and a graphic designer who's using Vue (and Bryce now and then) for the
sake of relaxing. Today I'm using Vue 5 Infinite and I love it :D
Could use some more memory in this laptop since 512 mb ain't enough...but
it just takes a bit more patience ;)
Well...that's me in a nutshell.
I'll stop by as often as I can....and thank you so much for all the flattering
comments on my renders :D They are most appreciated.
C.

I'll see what I can do. My gallery is mixed so I'm uploading both renders, photos and sometimes drawings as well.

Thank you :D And I agree...so far it behaved...well, except from today. It crashed
4 times while I was setting up a scene...but I think that's the lack of memory more
than anything ;)

Howdy-do from Frisco, Croxi!
Thanks for introducing yourself so nicely. Hope you'll provide a link to your gallery, when you get some stuff up.
I'm a huge fan of Vue 5i - more creative power than i've ever had in a computer before. And lots of cool tools to explore. Many helpful folks here at Rendo. Suggest you also try Cornucopia 3D and 3D Commune - and of course, the e-on registered users site, if you have not yet.
If you're looking for tutorials (or create any), i'm starting up a web directory of VUE tutorials (46 today) and i welcome suggestions for tutorials or cagegories...
