A small page on the new Crysis Engine, from the makers of the video game "Farcry".
You have to see the images to believe it. They are compared to real life photo's.
Not much difference.

Sweet looking engine, bet it needs monster hardware to run at that detail, now add one of the physx cards from ageia, you have some serious horse power. All we need is for Bryce 6 to be able to use these two engines and we could have some fun :). By the way softimage XSI already supports the physx card - how cool is that - xsi may be my next graphics purchase....----------
Toolset: Blender, GIMP, Indigo Render, LuxRender, TopMod, Knotplot, Ivy Gen, Plant Studio.
