This prog is great! does flat maps, planet textures, multiple map projections, exports spinning globe views in VRML - and you can also export multiple map sections simultaniously as well!
You can use it in conjunction with a program called WILBUR that is included with the package to create hieght maps for use in bryce OF SPECIFIC AREAS ON THE SAME GLOBAL MAP / PLANET TEXTURE!!!

FT PRO is an offshoot of WILBUR - and you can get WILBUR for free, Although FT PRO has pretty good layering capabilities, and you can also make climate maps of your planets as well!

It costs about $40 direct download - and $50 postal delivery (U.S.) - check for foreign delivery.
It's basically a program that allows you to either hand craft or generate your own worlds.
It's design to make mapes for gamers - so it can create multiple projections of world maps with or without co-ordinate grids - but it also does many more AMAZING things. It's not like MOJOWORLD in that you can't do 3d fly throughs of your worlds but if you use it with Wilbur you CAN create hieght maps for BRYCE terrains AND TERRAGEN LANDSCAPES!!!
