Oki this is the thing i'm i deep need of. I'm making a mask thats just a plane steelmask with a saphire planted into the head. My question is... How do i make that Saphire to stand alone so i can make it transparant without making the whole mask transparant? Someone that can helt med? Thanx DE

The sapphire should be a separate material from the rest of the mask, as defined by the usemtl lines in the .OBJ file.

Hello :) Well, I'm not an expert in LW but I think you can try this (I gave it a try in LW6.5 and it worked). In LW select all the poly that make your mask and assign them a surface (detail -> surface) and name it as you want (maybe mask ;) ) then select the poly that make the saphire and repeat the operation giving another name to the surface. After that, just export your creation as an objet and when you'll import it in poser you'll have two different materials to which you'll be able to affect different colors an transparencies. Hope it'll also work for and if I wasn't clear enough don't hesitate to ask (my English is quiet weak, I'm French) :) J-L
