That looks like Miki to me - while I doubt the animation will actually be rendered in Poser could this be a bit of positive publicity for Poser within the CG industry? It is the top story in the link provided at an event where tickets range from $199 to $349. I'm assuming Singapore dollars, but still - this isn't a hobbyist convention. Should be interesting to see if people judge this on its own merits or bash it for using a Poser figure (someone is bound to on a forum somewhere).

It could just be a similar looking 3d object.

with her exact eyes?  and her exact nose?  and iris size?  and the shape of her brows?   i doubt that.  the light is incredible, and i think the shape of her face and lips is custom,  and even her nose possibly changed a tad (though i think that's actually unchanged), but i'd lay money down on that being miki's mesh.

pros can get charged a lot more for a lot less realistic mesh, and a pro would probably know how to morph her, texture her, and rig her to fit a movie.

Hi xantor - it was the eyes that convinced me: Miki's eyes in the default pose are positioned very slightly off centre (like the image in the web page). Thats one of the things I like about the Miki character - it gives her a bit of expression right away.

Actually, now that I think about it - it will interesting to see how he handles her flawed arms & shoulders. Will she be covered up in the animation or has he re-modelled those parts of her to move smoothly? (like you say cobaltdream about morphing & re-rigging her)
