Hi Peter,
Have you hit unsubscribe on the last one you can't get rid of?

The same thing is happening to me, I'll uncheck all the boxes and when I update, the boxes I unchecked become checked again. My inbox got so jammed that I had to go back and change my subscription to the Writers gallery so I wouldn't get any more mails. ;) Hope it can be fixed soon. Thanks in advance. SnowS

I do not speak as a representative of DAZ, I speak only as a long-time member here. Be nice (and quit lying about DAZ) and I'll be nice too.

Hi Debbie,
The only buttons or links the are valid in this context is Revert changes and Save changes. And save shanges with nothing marked reverts to the last saved state. I can's see any unsubscribe-option.
With kindest regards

try unsubscribing one at a time and it will save except for the last one. They are working on fixing this now. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Hello, SndCastie,
Ok, that was what I was doing. And since this seems to be a know problem I rest my case and wait for the fix. Thank you all for your prompt answers.

May seem like a stupid question but what is this subscribing to galleries all about? - I don't remember doing that before the changes and had wondered about it when I saw it the other day.

Well the current use seems to be to bomb ur mailbox
StaceyG posted Fri, 16 June 2006 at 8:24 PM
We didn't have this before the change its just a new option. If you subscribe to a particuliar gallery you will receive an ebot every time someone uploads an image to that gallery which for large galleries such as Poser, thats a lot of ebots:)
dialyn posted Fri, 16 June 2006 at 8:28 PM
I haven't tried subscribing to anything yet, but can you narrow the field by the genre?
For example, I have no interest in nudes but I love animal graphics so could I subscribe to
Photography + animals??
Not related, but what is the "art charts" selection going to do?
SndCastie posted Fri, 16 June 2006 at 10:18 PM
peterki I am glad to help when I can :O)
As for the Art Charts here is what is in the front page article on the new galleries.
Art Charts: These will include favorite artists, vendor credits and images. This interactive feature will replace the stale Hot20 system. The information will be gathered from member's favorites lists, found in the “My Favorites” link.

Another artist was off for 2 days and received 575 ebots. I have been on LOA for the World Cup and I am being flooded with ebots too. I subscribed to 2D, my only subscription. I can't unsubscribe or uncheck and save change.
My work around: I subscribed to 'Holiday' and unchecked 2D. 'Holiday' has to have less activity than 2D.
Hope the fix is very soon, I don't want to miss any of the World Cup. I also don't want to have to go throught a nightmare after a 3 more weeks of ebots that go unread for lack of my attention.
Thank you for working on this problem.

This is driving me absolutely insane. Going to try to subscribe to Holiday. Let's see if THAT works. Ugh.

subscribe, unsubscribe doesn't work for me...the ebot stampede still keeps on going.

I have contacted the programmers again to see where they are in this issue as I see it as a pretty big priority right now so hopefully resolution is coming soon.
StaceyG posted Sat, 17 June 2006 at 3:11 PM
Okay you guys don't shoot me but I gotta ask (just because I just went and added galleries to my subscriptions, saved the changes and then went back unsubscribed and saved changes and it worked just fine, all were gone..I did this 4 times and each time it worked) so are you all sure you are hitting the "save changes" button and not the "revert changes" button? Just trying to cover all bases here.
Or maybe the programmers have resolved so you might try going in again and unsubscribing to the galleries that still have the check marks and see if it updates.
Thanks

Thanks Stacey and Nicholas! I just checked and see that no boxes are checked, it was reset I think. FYI, Stacey, your instructions are exactly what I did when it didn't work. I assume it worked for you because it was already fixed.
I appreciate your responsiveness to the issues that come up in this transition. I know it isn't easy for you, but I have confidence in everyone's desire to help. Thanks again.
