Just uploaded an oak tree trunk to Free Stuff for chohole.

Oak Tree Trunk

You can add foliage by using trees from tree-lab, make trunks transparent, remove shadows.

how long will it take for it to show up in the free stuff?

chohole posted Mon, 19 June 2006 at 2:29 PM

Deadman, if you click on any of Pogmahones free stuff it takes you to her site, and you can d/l this trunk there.

It works great, and its quite easy to add bryce tree leaves to it.

Messing around with Bryce, trying to get back into it.  Making odds and ends like this for no good reason beyond experimenting.  If anyone wants this let me know, and I'll upload it to Free Stuff.  I'm willing to make free stuff if I know what it is that people want.

Oh wow. yet again I want that, very useful........I can remember messing around in photoshop to try and get something just like that which I used as a pic object, because I can't model for the life of me. Bought hexagon, and have done nothing with it.

Very nice modeling Pog. 😄

pogmahone posted Mon, 26 June 2006 at 4:39 PM

Can't claim to have modelled it!  All I did was google for a photo of a hinge, straighten it a bit in photoshop, blur it, and apply it to a lattice.  No modelling required.

PS - forgot to say that the texture isn't part of the model, which is flat.  It's just 'hammered steel' from the regular Bryce textures, tweaked a bit.
