Excellent Kort!
I do realize that it is most likely a legal issue, but what gets me is that somebody, somewhere did something with the product that resulted in injury or lawsuit or any number of things that made these obvious statements necessary. Kind of like the lady that spilled McDonalds coffee on her lap and sued because it was to hot. Now all there cups say “Caution Coffee May Be Hot”
DERRRRRRR! :b_confused:
LOL!

My personal favourite has to be hair dryers with instructions & icons stating you musn't use it while having a bath or shower (you know, that old water & electricity thing).
Can I sue someone for insulting my intelligence?
willothewhisp posted Mon, 19 June 2006 at 4:06 PM
and what about that design classic, the Plipe Stark kettle? You know, the one that the box said not to use it with anything hot ... (the kettle that is, not the box)
lgp692000 posted Mon, 19 June 2006 at 4:43 PM
Well, I disregarded the directions in both scenarios. I used the worse mug in te house to make tea and did not wet or rinse my hair (just used the shampoo.
You be te judge.... :b_tonguewink:

Not a problem, Marlene. I felt it important that I prove that even the dumbest of things in out lives need to be tested for the sake of science and knowladge.

Thanks Mark, for taking risks in the name of such worthwhile scientific investigation. Thank goodness it was you that did it.If it was the government it probably would've cost 14 Billion dollars, lol.
Well, off to go blow-dry my hair in the bathtub now...See ya! :m_laugh:
