Hi David,

On uploading something I'd written, I found that I can't upload unless there is an accompanying image. Is this the new format? Is it possible to upload writing without having an image with it? Since I don't have a computer of my own, it's complicated for me to put images up through the office computer which doesn't have the necessary software to handle the size of images.

Also, I can't find an option to make someone a favourite artist. If I try to type in the name directly and save it, it tells me that the name doesn't exist. Will this clear up in time?

Thanks,

Hanevi.

Whoa really? That was something I explicitly tested to make sure was the case before they upgraded the galleries. I knew that most writers don't have images to upload so I made them fix it so that an image wasn't required.

Let me go test that and see what's up because that's definitely not how it's supposed to work!

Be right back =)

OOOOOKAY!

It seems that when they upgraded the galleries, they neglected to actually implement this fix :P Or they removed it for some reason.

Let me go bust some heads, and hopefully that'll be taken care of quickly.

As for adding favorites, currently the links for "Add Artist" and "Add Image" are directly under the image once you've clicked on the thumbnail. Where those links will be once the above is sorted out, I'm not sure.

I'll keep you posted.

Alrighty, it should be fixed now. You should be able to upload into the writer's gallery without including an image.

The links for "Add an Artist" and "Add Image" (which I guess is the same as add that particular written work) should still be there.
