Thought I would share a render with you.

It doesn't look too bad. I'll stick with Vicky and Aiko though. I get lots of mileage out of them.

Nice; very nice. Now, pray tell us who the heck she is, and why should we even be interested?
Why so cryptic as to her identity? (I see something written in the bottom right hand corner of the picture, but it's too faint for me to make out). Is she a variation of a known type, or a standalone? If she's a standalone, what kind of accessories does she have, or require; and support can we expect?
And last, but not least: You might have added a LINK to your post for our convenience.
As for the market place, I hardly ever go there, preferring to download all my stuff for free (if at all possible).

I was gonna say it's Clark's Sister! I didn't even have to go look! and I could tell that she was based on Clark 1. I'd recognise those lips anywhere! Isee she has no morphs for her face either for expressions and such. And no base textures either. I wonder if she can use Clarks?dphoadley posted Tue, 20 June 2006 at 7:54 AM

I was overly harsh in my criticism, and I appologize. My only excuse (and asinine it most definately is). is that I'm recovering from dental surgery, and my face feels like it's being stabbed by a red hot poker -asperin and Arak barely manage to keep it under control.
Your right, at 6:30 AM, and after a sleepless night, shit happens.
As for clicking on the image, did that before I wrote, no dice, name still just a blur on my monitor -looked something like 'Taher,' obviously incorrect.

Now that I've had a couple of hours sleep, I see I have the eyewhites a bit red. They looked fine through my blood shot eyes this morning.

it looks o.k. to me. body shape differs substantially from related figures ("girl", aiko3, mayadoll et al.). the description sez "MAConverter to MAC users", but they don't make it clear whether it's martin c's version, or fmorgan's version. perhaps it wasn't tested by any OS X user prior to release. small thing, mind you, as mac sales will be 3% (or less) of total sales. in regard to clark, I saw some renders of him in gallery yesterday, and they all had the same blank face staring directly into the camera. is that a limitation that will also apply to this female figure? I'm guessing clark looks o.k. from a side view, but I didn't see any gallery renders like that.

I think it's because base Clark doesn't come with any morphs - and I'm not sure if you can even do anything with his eyes, so maybe this is the reason (please keep in mind that I'm just guessing on that matter, as I do not own Clark). Gloria product description says she doesn't have any build-in morphs either, so that limits her usefulness for now. But I like her bodytype very much, so to the wishlist she goes :)
I'd love to see what TrekkieGrrrl could do with her, but I'm afraid Trekkie is far more into morphing guys ;)

There are no morphs for her. The only thing she comes with are the eyes up/down Side/side. But I'll change that when I get some time. I accidentally deleted my latest tutorial, had in wrong file, silly me, so I have to redo it before I can start on something else.
I only have the head texture pretty much finished, the body is just a matching tile color. I did script in her groups into RealSkinShader to get a half decent render.

The realy dark spot is the hair on the shoulder. The shoulders don't have JMC's. The whole shoulder/collar don't move as to normal. The same with the Hip/Butt. You need to be careful but still I think a lot better than the way Miki bends and the elbows and knees don't bulge out like balloons.

You could always send me the morphs to see how they look with a texture. Unfortunately I can't give my tex away, I used a merchant resource, with a lot of adaptation, so it's a no no according to the readme.

Here's a pic of her, slightly different smile (coz I'd already zeroed her again) but this time with just white base colour. And some coloured lights to make her look a little better ;)
It's a bit easier to see now I think. I agree the lips makes everything look odd.

Marque, I think it's the transparency thingie for the pubic hair. I expect her to look a lot better once some proper textures are done.
I'm a bit puzzled why Shahara released her before he had the textures done. I think the awesome texture was what mostly sold Clark. Not that he isn't a nice figure to work with as well, but the texture is just so stunning...

Marque, if you have ever successfully created a texture for any figure, then it could be somehow easy, using the templates from the free stuff, and photos of skin or, maybe, merchant resources from the marketplace. Otherwise it is a boring, complicated process and not everyone has enough patience to complete the task  Cake1 has an amazing texturing tutorial on her site: www.CakeOne.com - go to the tutorials section. It will show you the steps on how to use photos for texturing. Hope this helps :) Michal 4blueyes

4blueyes not talking about a texture...talking about the real skin product. I know that you can change it to match different characters, just wondered if anyone had done it and which line they changed. With this new forum format, (which I hate btw), I can't find the old threads on it. It works on the lights in P6, it's not a character texture.
