This is embarassing - I was sure I knew how to do this, but it didn't work when I tried it. I want to apply a magnet to certain material zones on a figure: in this case, V3's inner mouth, tongue, teeth and gums. This is what I thought I should do, but it obviously isn't since it doesn't work. I open the grouping tool, create a new group called Mouth. Then I add the materials that I want to magnetise to that group. I thought that I should be able to apply a magnet to this new group, but I can't find how to do it. Maybe my assumption was wrong, or maybe I missed a step. Put me out of my misery, please...

ummmm.... Ive never morphed a group before, I usually do a single body part at a time.... but I can tell you that I usually parent the part to the magnet after setting the positions etc.... I find this helps quite a bit. Otherwise Id suggest trying to find a reference in Travellers tutorials on RDNA, if I remember correctly I think there may have been something of the sort in one of them....
Hope this helps

after you create your new group & the new magnet, just go to the Magnet Zone's properties & check Group there---Mouth'll be in a little dropdown list---& that should do it for you.

Thanks Jan, I'd never have found that by myself. It worked a treat. When's your birthday? :)
