.............. for my vaction. :O))
Yes, I will be gone to a place called Harsil and another one called Gangotri which is in Uttranchal, India ( up the Himalayas). It is at a height of 5000 meters from sea level. 14 hours drive from Delhi which I plan to split by having a halt at Haridwar. The ultimate aim is to go near Gaumukh.....the source of the river Ganges but I doubt I will be able to complete the 7 kms trek at such height, anyway I will give a try.
I plan to get the best of my world to you all on my return using my snuff box camera and the still feature in my handycam.
Till then adios..........

Have a great trip and we will be looking forward to some fabulous images when you return !
And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies
live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to
sea in a Sieve.

Have a safe trip and a magnificent vacation. Sounds like quite a wonderful location, can´t wait to see some photos.
How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

I'm not sure where you are leaving from to go to India...anyway, may the flight seem shorter than it is and arrive safely and return the same! Best wishes.

Colour me green with envy....but with my vertigo I likely wouldn't last at that altitude...always too much below me...LOL...enjoy friend!!!!!
Once
in a while I look around,
I see
a sound
and
try to write it down
Sometimes
they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

You scared me there for a sec Raj, I thought RR was loosing another of it's long-time members. I have heard of Harsil. Enjoy your trip/vacation and I hope you are able to take many wonderful shots!
