since not everyone visits the PS forum i figured id post this reminder here:

irina owners, please visit your purchases page and download the irina 2.0 update. there seems to be some confusion - this is not an add-on, it is completely free to previous irina (1.0) purchasers.
it adds a completely redone head morph, new head/makeup textures, a set of diving props, a new readme, and some tweaks to the character in general.

there are some instructions at the bottom of the product page on which existing folders you should delete before installing the update -- there is no point backing these up as the old textures and MATs should not be used anymore. the adventuress expansion, if you own it, should be reinstalled after the irina 2.0 update.

and, speaking of the adventuress expansion: since irina now has a completely new head morph, the sunglasses in the expansion need to be tweaked slightly to fit it. it is simply a matter of scaling them up a tiny little bit since irina's new head is fatter :)
i will be addressing this in the adventuress pack 2.0 update next week, and i will also be adding a bit of extra content and tweaks to the adventuress pack as well..... but i am moving tomorrow so i cannot do a quick fix until then.

Yeah man...awesome figure... any chance of getting the nipple mapping corrected for other textures... the nipple mapping is not compatible with other character textures... or have I got this wrong?... maybe... don't know... nipple doesn't line up.... proper! Thanks... cool character though

since her nipples are large, and they generally fade into the texture as opposed to being a hard line, theyre not intended to be interchangeable with nipples from other textures if thats what you are asking.
other than that, they are painted directly on the morphed character to look good on the morph, like all of my custom morphed characters are. irina is quite heavily morphed from the default SP3 (which is why i catch people who rip her off so easily). to be honest i havent even tried using her texture on default SP3 or any other morphs simply because i created irina so i didnt have to use other morphs.
its been awhile since ive considered myself a 'texture artist'... nowadays i pretty much bundle textures along with my morphs and clothing packs, not vice versa :)  if i could get away with it i would stop texturing altogether - god knows there are already a million caucasian V3 textures out there.

btw - glad to hear everyone installed the updates with no trouble. if anyone is wondering why all of the head textures were replaced (besides the fact that the new ones look better), its because the old ones had highlights that were 'baked' in -- so they looked the same regardless of the head morph they were used on. the new ones are much more neutral so they can be used with different head morphs. i also wasnt 100% happy with the old head so i decided to remake it from scratch.

She used to be my favorite character. But GND2 is now the queen!!. hehehe it's time to play with Irina again...
The new items are great. Maybe the Adventuress package should contain some mittons and backpack ;-)

I always liked Irina more than GND because of the stuff for her. I really don't have any use for the clothes I have seen GND with but the Irina stuff works, to some degree, for me.
