Try these for a bit of an overview of Dynamic Cloth.

Any vertices in the Choreographed group move as directed by the translation / rotation / scale morph dials only.
They are also affected by magnets.
ISTR that magnet effects are baked in to the simulation, so you need to set magnets to 0.0 to avoid a double feed effect after calculating the simulation.

A Quick tutorial is to make a simple kite prop:

  1. Use the Hi Res Cloth prop (the flat square) in the Props library

  2. Go to the Cloth room create a new sim for it.

  3. After you clothify it, click on the Use Choreographed button

  4. using the Add vertices - create a 'cross' diagonally from corner to corner (to emulate the cross sticks on a kite

  5. Animate the prop as if it was a kite moving in the sky

  6. Simulate and you will see the results

Hopes this helps,

-Brian

Don't forget to add a wind object to blow up into the kite. :)
