Is there a way to keep Poser 6 from generating pngs for each file?

If you're using Poser to save the files in Poser's libraries, then AFAIK, no.
Cheers,
Diolma
PS: And anyway, why worry? without the .png files you'll just get the "shrugging man" for each file - and they're only 91x91 pixels in size (a maximum total of 8281 32-bit words, plus a few for book-keeping - and that assumes that every pixel differs) Unless you're REALLY hard up for disk space, that shouldn't matter....
PPS: Sorry if the above sounds sarcastic - I didn't intend it that way, but sometimes people forget that most everything saved to disc these days takes up very little space (in percentage terms). Vidoes excluded!

If you use ThumbNailer, Poser files retain the thumbnail and you can chuck the pngs. They do add up. :)
