The Bryce Commandments
1 Thou shalt worship only at the altar of the one true 3d App - Bryce alone shall be that app - (although you get some dispensation for using Silo, Poser, Photoshop or PSP)
2 Wings 3D shall thou not use - for it be the stuff of sinners that tempts them from the trail of rightousness.
3 Thou shalt not covert thy neighbours textures. (Cardinal Cyber Storm)
4 Thou shalt Boolean. (This means you, Drac!)
5 Thou shalt create spheres - but put them not over water or seas or lakes or mugs of tea.
6 Thou shalt not be boastful - smugness is ok, but not about that really kewl piece of kit you picked up for a song at the Sisgraph Convention.
7 Thou shalt not use thumbnail titties! Especially if they link to a render that has no titties!
8 Thou shalt not have more than one personna on The Rend.
9 Thou shalt confess!! (Especially to having 'blonde moments' like Ang 'cos we need a good laugh now and again.)
10 The number of the count shall be 3 and three shall be the number of the counting.....oh..er...sorry! don't know how that slipped in......

Tut Tut your film knowledge is sorely lacking, get thy self to a rental shop and watch Monty Python and the holy grail, you shall then understand this quote, know why to avoid rabbits and understand the importance of the average air speed of a swallow in flight....

To follow in the theme of commandment 10, the chances are that the punishment would be a spanking! and after the spanking.....

More Bryce Commandments:
1 Thou shalt create a sphere
2 Thou shalt create water
3 Thou shalt never bring together thy sphere and thy water (tea is fine)
4 Thou must never use soft shadows
5 If thou useth soft shadows thou shalt be dooomed to the renderhell forever
6 Thou must look at the DTE
7 Thou must not touch the DTE!
8 Thou must press the randomise sky button,
9 Thou must save thy randomised skies, yea, verily – all of them, and sell them for vast sums
10 Thou shalt always return to Bryce - the place of soft meta-boolean shadowgels.

And Bryce said," Let there be light." Soft shadows are the cross, and motion blur the spear. Bear the pain of both to see the light. The path to Heaven is littered with the half finished renders of the non believers. 20, 30, 40 hours is but a moment on the path to enlightenment.
Boolean, the bane of the no believer. The curse upon the face of Bryce, that only the deeply commited(DEMENTED) can find glory in. Boolean seperates the wheat from the chaff. The stupid from the Wings 3d users. It is a test that shows how desperate a person is to stick with only one program. The true believer will revel in the pain of slicing and dicing a cube into the space shuttle, while the sane among us import the model we built in Wings.
To the true believes I leave this message. BOOLEAN SUCKS.
Remember. Render unto others as others would render unto you.

As long as the punishment doesn't involve being forced to dress up like a banana and dance to the song "IT'S PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!" in public for the duration of an atmospheric render with 50 radial lights, then I should be ok.

Cyba_Storm! yikes, more heresy upon mine ears. Repent or Bryce lightning will surely strike.
-- Thou shalt not plant duplicated trees within the same grove for ye shall surely inherit fruit of malformed and missing parts.
--Thou shall always remove the bulge of evil on all tree trunks and return them to the warm folds of metaball heaven.
--Thou shalt not stare at the render line for doing so will lengthen render times. Get thee much needed sleep.
--Thou shall learn render to disk lest ye be tempted to stare at the render line.

I think heretic of the year must be awarded at the annual hereric of the year awards ceremony - Kind of like the douchebag of the universe was in SouthPark. Therefore cyba_storm would have to be nominated for heretic of the year first.
Since no -ne has yet nominated him for heretic of the year and the awards haven't been awarded yet for this year he can't possibly be heretic of the year... yet.
