I am trying to do detailed illustrations in photoshop. By when I try to do outlines and follow contures ... I get jaggies all over the place. Now I've been drawing for almost 50 years now. I do know how to draw. any tips. Here is what I have so far ... I need to clean it up a bit. As you can see on the arms and shoulders the lines are unacceptable. Any trick for this?

Maybe your brush settings are too sensitive. In the right side of the upper tool bar you can click on a presets symbool. In the brush size/pressure settings, you can define a minimum and maximum size. When you set a minimum, not every change in pressure leads to a thinner line. And I think for clear lines like the shoulders and arme large movements are best, not short lines. But with the pressure thing that might work better.

On the wacom tablets I believe there is a setting to control how much area of the picture the tablet covers. Setting the tablet for a smaller area should increase the resolution .

I would check or reset the dynamics on your brush. You might have a touch of scattering going on.
