Subject: Trouble Viewing Free Stuff pages with Safari

I'm getting a black background and invisible text when I try to view the Free Stuff pages with Safari browser (see my attached screen shot). I never had the problem until recently. IE browser works fine so it seems like it's probably a problem with Safari. However, I checked all the preferences in Safari to make sure I didn't accidentally change something but nothing looks unusual. The MarketPlace, Galleries, Forums, etc. all look ok. It's just the Free Stuff pages. Any help is much appreciated.

Okay Digiyogi

Try viewing the freestuff now and let me know.

It works! Whatever did you do?

We reset your colors on the old side to the default colors. It won't change how you have your colors over here on the new .PHP side but will allow you to view properly on the old .ez side where the freestuff, tutorials, contests, etc still reside.

So, just out of curiosity, is this "new .PHP side" what was refered to in the new announcment about changes to the gallery, etc.?

Yes, so far the Marketplace, Forums, Galleries and Site Mail (instant messaging) and Homepages are residing over here on the new .PHP platform. Eventually everything will be over here, Freestuff, Tutorials, Contests, etc.

So I take this means that all the .EZ pages will only show up in the default colours until they get converted ?

Do you know yet which stylesheet will active for the PHP versions of the pages ?

Hi nruddock,

Well the Freestuff, Tutorials, Contest pages, etc will have the default colors like the Marketplace does.  Since so many members have the most trouble viewing the Forums and galleries in the default colors we decided to add the option of using a CSS stylesheet for those areas only.

Thanks for answering.
It's nice to know in advance that I'll have to adjust the colours at my end.
